Our suites require a Greeter to meet you at a pre-confirmed date and time. Ensure you book your travel times accordingly and be in contact with the Lakeview in advance if you need to reschedule your arrival or departure times. Greeters will wait at the property for 30 minutes.

Rates, prepayment and balance due

Published rates are subject to change without notice and do not include tax.

For reservations made prior to 30 days of Guests’ arrival date, a prepayment of one half (50%) the total amount is due immediately to hold the reservation. Balance payments will be required 30 days prior to check-in.

For reservations made within 30 days of the Guests’ arrival date, a prepayment of the total amount (100%) is due.

All reservations must be paid in full prior to disbursement of check-in information. Additional charges incurred will be processed at check-out.

Payment can be made via credit card (Visa or MasterCard), or Interac email money transfer (e-transfer). Cheques are not accepted.


Confirmed reservations are non-refundable, however, in the event of a cancellation, the Lakeview will attempt to re-rent the suite, and if successful, will refund the money in full, less a 10% cancellation fee. A proportional refund will apply if the property is rebooked for only a part of the Guest’s reserved time.

If the suite is not re-rented, the Lakeview will retain all payments. No refunds will be made for unused days or early departures.

All reservations are subject to a minimum $500.00 Damage Deposit regardless of the length of stay. We pre-authorize damage deposits for reservations less than 30 days. For reservations exceeding 30 days we require a pre-paid damage deposit.

The Damage Deposit may be applied against any and all damage and loss to the property caused by the Guest, (other than normal wear and tear) as well as, excessive cleaning costs.

Guests will pay for all damage incurred while the guest is staying at the suite, even if the offender is being hosted by the guest.


Cleaning fees are not included in the published rate prices. A cleaning fee of $200 will be deducted from your Damage Deposit upon check-out.

The cleaning fee covers all normal turnover associated with the property, and does not cover additional or excess cleaning that may be required after the guests’ departure. Guests are responsible for leaving the accommodation tidy and with furniture left in the same position as it was when the Guest arrived. Guests shall maintain reasonable cleanliness and sanitary standards of the property throughout their stay.

If additional cleaning is required, due to excessive use or damage to the Property, the Lakeview is entitled to deduct this expense from the Damage Deposit.

Scheduled housekeeping services can be requested for a fee during your stay if required.

Cleaning Fee and housekeeping services

We do not permit the use of the suites for weddings, receptions, parties, bachelor(ette), reunions etc. This policy is in place for the benefit of surrounding hotels and cabins and to minimize wear and tear on our property.

Special events and gatherings 

In consideration for the comfort of all our guests, we do not allow smoking in any of our suites. Smoking will result in the loss of the guests’ damage deposit to pay for the cleaning required.


Pets are not permitted at the Lakeview. Our ‘No Pets’ policy is in keeping with our regard for wildlife and consideration for the wellbeing of all our guests.
